Course Instructor Agreement
CI agreement serves its purpose as the contract of employment which regulates the terms and conditions of employment between the CI and the company. The purpose of this CI agreement is to ensure that both CI and the company have a clear understanding of what is expected during the term of employment. It helps CI to understand what their rights are under the law. This agreement can also serve to eliminate any conflicts which may arise at a later date.
The CI agreement sets a definite term of employment of CI with the company. This guarantees job security for the CI, as long as they do not violate the terms of the contract. Research clearly shows that the single most important factor in a child’s education is the quality of teaching. A good course instructors are not born that way they are developed. We have to invest significant resources in training and development programs to improve their professionalism.
Upon execution of the CI agreement, payment of a sum of Ringgit Malaysia two thousand (RM 2000.00) shall be made to SMM Academy. The SMM Academy shall provide adequate training for the CI to enable him/her to acquire sufficient knowledge and skill for the teaching of the course. Course Instructor shall not disclose any confidential and proprietary information of the company to any third party. Besides that, any information supplied shall not be made copies.
Upon resignation, CI shall return all information (including written notes, photographs, or notes taken by the CI) to SMM Academy.
CI shall not involve in the business of a competitor of the company within twelve (12) months following the resignation from the company to avoid the inevitable disclosure of the company’s confidential information.
Any disclosure of the confidential information by the CI to any third party shall be compensated by the CI. The Centre may terminate the agreement immediately by notice in writing if the CI breached any clause of this agreement. In addition to terminating this agreement, the principal of the Centre may recover from the CI the amount of any direct loss or damage sustained by the result of the termination.
